Kotaro Misaki is the husband of Yukiyo Misaki.
Kotaro never appears in the story. He is mentioned in Chapters 8 and 13 during conversations between Mei and Kōichi at Misaki M. Studio and again in Chapter 15 while the two are at Sakitani Kinenkan. According to Mei, Kotaro is a rich, competent businessman who "flies all over the place" all year round, typically spending over half a year traveling outside of Japan and most of the other half residing in Tokyo. He's also responsible for building Misaki M. Studio and letting Yukiyo do whatever she wanted with it. Mei believed that he was in Germany at the time of her conversation with Kōichi.
